Death has taken its toll
On your near and dear
It has in its grip
The people and their fear
You’ve felt the joy once
You now feel the pain
Sorrow in your heart
And tears in your eyes
You’ve seen pain
You’ve experienced it
You heart’s been broken once,
Twice and thrice
You’ve felt the pain in your bones
Emotion in your throat
Fear torturing your mind
Pain wringing your heart
You’ve seen life and its vagaries
It’s whims and its fancies
It’s humour is not to be escaped
But to be endured and understood
You’ve seen a lot
You went through more
But rest not weary man!
Life’s not over yet
You’re not through yet.
There’s more to come
Save the tears
Joy is ahead
And so is sorrow
You started a fool
But you’re no wiser
Life is in understanding
And not in giving up
What you’ve seen is just the tip
The bottom’s deep
And the journey’s long
Time is waiting to escort you
It sticks along
It makes you a wise man
Life and your breath are all you have
That you can call yours
Till the journey’s end
Fear not death
For a coward never lives
Wait no more
Take it ask it comes
Quail not; Complain not
Life is yours
Blame is not to be shared by others
More is to come, wait for it
Come what may, it is for you
It’s yours, your memories
Your past and your future
Be proud of it, raise your chin
What you’ve seen is unique
What you’ll see is so too
It’s yours, it’s the only thing yours
Let the tears flow
Tears of joy; Tears of pain
For washing is what it takes
To come out clean at the other end
Look forward to life
And welcome death when it comes
Pain and pleasure go hand in hand
Take one, other comes home
Pleasure spoils, pain cleanses
Make your choice
Don’t be a fool
It’s your life, it’s your choice
The wise are dead; you are on your own
To err is human, learn to make a mistake
Learn to realize, have courage to be wise
For the wise are no cowards
And fools not brave
The top is spinning and the time is fleeting
Make your choice before the top falls
Before it’s too late
It’s never too late so long as you live
But remember the Lord of Death
For he’s never late
You cannot defy him
But you can learn to welcome him
With a glad past behind
Death is never a pain
Be proud of your life
But never too much
Humble and strong
Get up and face it
Learn from the wise
For Fool’s Paradise is not forever
You come out, you’ll feel the pain
The world is not cruel
Ever ready to bear your weight
Learn to live, learn from the dead
The wise are dead
But their lessons aren’t
God’s smiling
So you still have a chance
Life’s not over yet,
You’re not through yet
And all’s not over yet!
